SSTL Privacy Notice - Recruitment
This privacy notice informs you of what to expect when the Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) handle your personal information.
The HR team rely on Consent to collect and process your personal information to manage the recruitment of employees, contractors and casual labour workers.
The HR team rely on Consent to collect and process your name, known as, title, address, mobile and home telephone numbers, email address, job title, salary, and nationality, place of birth, work permit status, qualifications, passport and CV from TeamTailor to manage the recruitment of employees, contractors and casual labour workers.
Your name, known as, title, address, mobile and home telephone numbers, email address, job title, salary, and nationality, place of birth, work permit status, qualifications, passport and CV is sent to Recruiting Managers to progress through the recruitment process for open vacancies.
No automated decision making or profiling is used in the processing of your data.
Your personal data is retained for up to 12 months for unsuccessful applicants, and 6 years post-employment for successful hires after which time your data is securely deleted (electronic) and shredded (hard copy).
In respect of the processing, you have the right to access your personal data and for it to be rectified. You may request your personal data to be erased or to restrict the processing. You have the right to data portability. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
